Creative Event Support
The Technical Support Apprenticeship Program is a 180-day program that assigns business-minded STEM-ready youth to Key Tech Labs' network of BIPOC businesses to provide technical assistance.
Participants will be trained to provide microservices such as business surveys and market research, RFP review and bidding assistance, CRM management, project plans, capability statements, and website development.

The Burien Solar Punk Festival : A One-Day Experience of Entertainment, Community, Environment and Technology.
The Solar Punk Festival attendees young and old will get to experience various Green Technologies. Three examples are our an air to water generator, solar microgrid system and a FarmBot. The air to water generator extracts moisture from the air and converts it into water. The solar microgrid system generates energy from the sun. The FarmBot is an open-source CNC machine that can be programmed to water, seed and weed automatically. Come on and join us because "The Future Is NOW and The Future is GREEN! "
Mission Statement
Our mission is to bring emerging technologies to underrepresented areas to help create self-sustainable communities.
This means bringing technology like the vertical farm, air to water generator, and solar energy to communities teaching them how to use and create it for themselves. Empowering them to be the master of their own lives. As everyone needs food, water and shelter these skills are universal. Our individuals will be able to enter any community and be an asset to the community, even if they do not speak the language. When you can put food on the table, create a roof over your head and bring clean drinking water to the community, you are in demand

ABOUT
Key Tech Labs is a 501c3 nonprofit with a mission to build self-sustaining communities by equipping minorities with skills in S.T.E.M. in order to thrive in the workplace of tomorrow. We empower communities to repair, repurpose, upgrade, and advance the world in which we live through curriculums built on sustainable learning systems, integrating peer-to-peer mentoring with project-based learning. Students learn how to program by assessing everyday problems, drafting a solution, designing and prototyping to solve issues themselves, and finally, share their solutions with the world. Key Tech Labs serves as a direct pipeline for talented, diverse, and underrepresented communities to engage in the workforce of the future fully.
